W@W WRAP - Week 97: God is everywhere!
Friday Nov 09, 2018
Friday Nov 09, 2018
Continuing in our series: “What comes to mind when you think about God?”, may I pose another question to you? Do you believe, with all your heart, that GOD IS EVERYWHERE – that you are never alone? He was in your yesterday, He is here today, and He will be in your tomorrow. As A.W. Tozer described: “God is everywhere here, close to everything, next to everyone”.
Psalm 139:7-10 (NIV): “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast”.

Friday Nov 16, 2018

Pascal wrote: “The greatest single distinguishing feature of the omnipotence of God is that our imagination gets lost when thinking about it”. What comes to mind when you think about God? Did you know that one of the names of God is, El Shaddai, God Almighty – the One with unlimited, incomprehensible power and authority, divine omnipotence?
Revelation 11:17 (AMP): “To You we give thanks, O Lord God Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all], Who are and Who were, because You have taken Your great power and the sovereignty [which is rightly Yours] and have [now] begun to reign”.

W@W WRAP - Week 99: God is worthy of our praise!
Saturday Nov 24, 2018
Saturday Nov 24, 2018
What comes to mind when you think about God? Today I want to shout out: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty! I think of words like glorious, splendid, kind, loving, majestic, ruler over all, wonderful, magnificent, supreme, Lord of lords and King of kings, the beginning and end, the great I AM, creator, my Father… How else, but through worship and praise, would we be able to give expression to our awe and admiration, our gratitude and the wonder we have toward our Heavenly Father?
Romans 12:1 (TPT): “Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights His heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship”.

W@W WRAP - Week 101: God is in the waiting…
Saturday Dec 08, 2018
Saturday Dec 08, 2018
How often do we find ourselves running ahead of God, taking control of situations, or quitting when it seems nothing is happening – and it looks like God is not answering our prayers? Nobody likes waiting, especially in our age where we are always racing against time. What comes to mind when you think about God – especially when you are in a time of waiting?
Our scripture this week comes from Psalm 27:14 (TPT): “Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!”
