W@W Kids WRAP 13 – Vertrou op Jesus...
Monday Apr 01, 2019
Monday Apr 01, 2019

W@W WRAP - Week 118: The hall of faith…
Friday Apr 05, 2019
Friday Apr 05, 2019
I was reflecting on FAITH and reading through the well-known Hebrews 11 – the so-called “Great Hall of Faith”. I have a burning question on my heart for us today: Is our faith strong enough, do we truly trust God completely, to get our names recorded in GOD’s HALL OF FAITH?
Our scripture this week comes from Hebrews 11:1-2 (MSG): “The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd”.

W@W WRAP - Week 119: To see God…
Friday Apr 12, 2019
Friday Apr 12, 2019
What is the condition of your heart? If you are really open and honest with yourself today, would you describe your heart as being pure – undivided, set-apart, focused and controlled by God? As Solomon prompts us in Proverbs 4:23 (TPT): “So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are”.
Matthew 5:8 (AMP): “Blessed [anticipating God’s presence, spiritually mature] are the pure in heart [those with integrity, moral courage, and godly character], for they will see God”.

W@W WRAP - Week 120: Eternal glory!
Friday Apr 19, 2019
Friday Apr 19, 2019
As we prepare to celebrate the most significant event in history… I stopped for a moment to reflect on the meaning of Easter. What does Easter mean to you? The death of Jesus? An empty tomb? A Risen Christ?
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (TPT): “So death, tell me, where is your victory? Tell me death, where is your sting? It is sin that gives death its sting and the law that gives sin its power. But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One”.

W@W WRAP - Week 121: Extravagant love…
Saturday Apr 27, 2019
Saturday Apr 27, 2019
During this special Easter time, I was reminded again of the greatest act of LOVE in all of history. Our Lord not only extended His grace and loving-kindness, but laid down His life, to defeat sin and death so that we can have eternal life! As I considered our Lord’s LOVE, it triggered a question in my mind: Do we truly love others the way Jesus loves us?
1 Corinthians 13:13 (TPT): “Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run”.

Jesus leef!

W@W WRAP - Week 122: Bubbling fountain of living water!
Saturday May 04, 2019
Saturday May 04, 2019
What do we thirst for most in life? Do we allow God to fill us or are we constantly running on empty – looking and searching for more in all the wrong places?
Our scripture this week comes from John 4:14 (AMP): “But whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty again. But the water that I give him will become in him a spring of water [satisfying his thirst for God] welling up [continually flowing, bubbling within him] to eternal life”.

W@W WRAP - Week 123: To know our Heavenly Father…
Saturday May 11, 2019
Saturday May 11, 2019
We have started with a new online series on IDENTITY. Our guest speaker, Lucinda Smith presented us with a pertinent question: Do you truly know who God is? Do you know His character and nature? I’ve previously also shared this profound quote from A.W. Tozer: “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us”.
John 14:6 (NIV): “Jesus answered: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.

W@W WRAP - Week 124: At the feet of Jesus!
Friday May 17, 2019
Friday May 17, 2019
In our world and culture today, it seems the standard answer to the question: “How are you?” is no longer “Good – thank you”, but “Crazy busy”. This week during our Online Series: Women of the Bible 2, I was confronted with a few questions: Where do people find us when they are looking for us? What is our top priority? Are we so busy working and serving (and in many instances, doing what is right and what we were called for) that we don’t have time to love, honour, worship and learn from our Lord?
Luke 10:38-39 (AMP): “Now while they were on their way, Jesus entered a village [called Bethany], and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was continually listening to His teaching”.

W@W WRAP - Week 125: Build up the Way…
Friday May 24, 2019
Friday May 24, 2019
Who are you? Do you know your calling? What is the purpose of your life?
Isaiah 62:10 (NIV): “Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations”.
