W@W WRAP - Week 134: FAITH IN GOD…
Saturday Jul 27, 2019
Saturday Jul 27, 2019
Do you know God? How would you rate the intimacy of your relationship with Him? Do you know His will for your life?
Mark 11:22-24 (AMP): Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you”.

W@W WRAP - Week 135: GOD IS OUR PROVIDER…
Saturday Aug 03, 2019
Saturday Aug 03, 2019
YHWH JIREH, Hebrew for “THE LORD WILL PROVIDE” means “God sees”. The provision of God can be understood to mean: “God sees the future and knows the past and present – He therefore sees and knows our needs even before they become apparent to us and He then makes provision for what will be needed”. Still, we sometimes get discouraged and start to doubt God’s very nature as our PROVIDER – especially when it feels like we are asking God to fill a need, or for a positive outcome for a desperate situation or for that miracle we’ve been praying for, for years…
Genesis 22:13-14 (AMP): Then Abraham looked up and glanced around, and behold, behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering (ascending sacrifice) instead of his son. So Abraham named that place, “The Lord Will Provide”. And it is said to this day, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be seen and provided”.

W@W Kids WRAP 17 – Soos ‘n mier...
Monday Aug 05, 2019
Monday Aug 05, 2019
Spreuke 6:6-11 (NLV): “Jou luiaard, gaan leer by die mier. Kyk wat hy doen. Leer wat wysheid is by hom.

W@W WRAP - Week 136: TO BE CLOSE TO GOD…
Saturday Aug 10, 2019
Saturday Aug 10, 2019
A relationship is defined as: “The way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of being connected or associated”. The ingredients for a strong relationship include fundamental building blocks like trust, respect, honesty, loyalty, patience and love. None of these are achieved without knowing each other – coming back to the time we spend together.
The most important relationship we have is with our Heavenly Father – this where our life and existence flow from. If we want to cultivate an intimate relationship with God, our hearts and flesh (our entire beings) need to cry out to be in His presence. How do we achieve being in God’s presence – seeking Him above all else?
Psalm 84:2 (NIV): “My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God”.

W@W WRAP - Week 137: A LIFE OF WORSHIP…
Saturday Aug 17, 2019
Saturday Aug 17, 2019
I was challenged this week to take a deeper look into how our lives (our actions and reactions, the joys and sorrow – the things that flows from our hearts) reflect and worship God.
How often do we go through the motion of “worshipping” God with our lips while our hearts are far away from Him? Worship reveals the true condition of our hearts. It reveals who is truly King and Lord over our lives. It reveals who or what holds the highest priority in our lives. Our thoughts, words and actions flow from the condition of our hearts.
Hebrews 13:15-16 (AMP): “Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name. Do not neglect to do good, to contribute [to the needy of the church as an expression of fellowship], for such sacrifices are always pleasing to God”.

W@W WRAP - Week 138: ON THE WINNING SIDE…
Saturday Aug 24, 2019
Saturday Aug 24, 2019
Do you believe that God will do everything in His power to save us from the evil plans of the enemy? Even if it looks like evil is prevailing in our day and age, even if we are faced with painful or difficult circumstances – as children of God, we have HOPE! Jesus victoriously defeated the devil, and is now inviting us to join His winning side. God, our Lord, is right next to us, fighting with us against our enemies, fighting to save us (Paraphrased Deuteronomy 20:4).
Our scripture this week comes from Galatians 5:1 (NKJV): “Stand fast therefore in the liberty (freedom) by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage”.

W@W WRAP - Week 139: PERFECT PEACE!
Saturday Aug 31, 2019
Saturday Aug 31, 2019
Our response to difficult situations or to tragedies exposes the foundation on which our lives are built. How do you respond when confronted with a crisis? Who do you run to first, when you need help?
Romans 15:13 (AMP): “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises”.

W@W Kids WRAP 18 – Jou eerste stap in alles is GEBED!
Monday Sep 02, 2019
Monday Sep 02, 2019

W@W WRAP - Week 140: YOU BELONG!
Saturday Sep 07, 2019
Saturday Sep 07, 2019
What does family mean to you? Do you feel loved and welcomed by your family (or extended family)? The world around us has changed significantly over the past few years – with the advancement of technology; the influence of Social Media; and shifting priorities, cultural standards, and belief systems. No wonder many people believe that the definition of marriage and family has evolved… but let’s not be deceived. Let’s go back to the original design for marriage and family life!
Genesis 1:27-28 (AMP): “So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them [granting them certain authority] and said to them: Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth...”

W@W WRAP - Week 141: WHO IS BUILDING YOUR HOUSE?
Saturday Sep 14, 2019
Saturday Sep 14, 2019
As we continue to look at God’s original design for marriage and family life, I felt God prompting me to ask myself some important and challenging questions. Would you take time this week to consider these questions?
1. What is your understanding of a healthy and strong marriage and family?
2. How do you think healthy, strong families influence healthy, strong communities and ultimately nations?
3. If you are concerned about your family, what Bible verse do you reference first? What is your first response?
4. Reflecting on your family and marriage – what is one way you have grown and developed personally, and in your family relationships?
5. What advice would you share with couples and families going through tough times?
Psalm 127:1 (CEV): “Without the help of the Lord it is useless to build a home or to guard a city”.
