Our amazing Father God is all about creating new things and restoring broken things – especially when all we can see are impossibilities and imperfection.
Jeremiah 33:3 (AMP): “CALL to Me and I will ANSWER you, and TELL you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish”.
We do not know what lies ahead in what may seem like an uncertain and unknown future; but let’s be intentional and consistent about CALLING out to our Lord! Let’s ASK Him to direct our journey, and to do a NEW THING in our lives. Our Lord’s heart is for restoration, and He has magnificent things in store for us!

What does it mean to “BE IN GOD’S PRESENCE?” “HOW DO WE GET INTO HIS PRESENCE?” “WHY IS BEING IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER SO SPECIAL AND IMPORTANT FOR US?”
Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we have constant access to God’s presence. Jesus is God’s presence with us; and when He ascended to Heaven, He left the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. If God is present everywhere, we do not have to DO something to BE in His presence. He is already here. It’s about our AWARENESS of His presence. Being AWAKENED to experiencing Him in and through our daily lives.

Having Jesus as Lord over our lives changes everything – our thinking, perspectives, values, priorities and principles. Jesus is the great I AM, the WAY, TRUTH and LIFE. No one gets to heaven except through Him (John 14:6).
Who is Jesus to you? Do you know Him and do you have a personal relationship with Him? Do you know and follow His ways? Does your life point others to Him? Do you trust Him as the Lord of your life? Will you leave everything behind to follow Him and submit it all to Him?

Matteus 2:10-11 (NV): “Toe hulle die ster sien, was hulle baie bly. Hulle het in die huis ingegaan en die Kindjie saam met Maria, sy moeder, gesien, en hulle het gekniel en aan Hom hulde bewys. Daarna het hulle hulle reissakke oopgemaak en vir Hom geskenke uitgehaal: goud, wierook en mirre”.

Christmas reminds us of the most wondrous gift we could ever have received – the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It reminds us of our Father God’s never-ending love. It’s the greatest news of light, joy, peace, hope and eternal life!
Luke 2:10 (NIV): But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people”.

How amazing is it to think that we are part of the greatest love story ever written? Not only are we part of it, we are on the receiving end of an indescribable gift: God opened heaven to pour His Love out on us. God’s Love is what saves, redeems and restores us. God’s Love is what sets us free. God’s Love is what gives us hope, peace and joy forever. God’s Love is what draws us close to Him – the incarnation of His presence. And that’s what the gospel story is all about – God with us!
