W@W WRAP - Week 179: A NEW WAY…
Saturday Jun 06, 2020
Saturday Jun 06, 2020
We often hear that God wants to do “a new thing” in our lives. Possibly it’s a new way of thinking, or a new way of serving Him or being fruitful in His Kingdom. Perhaps it’s a new way of being more accountable with how we spend our time, money or resources; or being good stewards with what He entrusted to us? The one thing I have learnt over the years is that challenges (like this Covid pandemic) force us to change – to get us out of our comfort zones, and re-evaluate what it means to live in the fullness of who our Creator God made us to be. (Isaiah 43:18-19)

W@W WRAP - Week 180: OUR GOD IS FAITHFUL IN EVERY SEASON!
Saturday Jun 13, 2020
Saturday Jun 13, 2020
As we journey through different seasons in life, we so often let challenges or uncertainties get the better of us. Yet, we serve a faithful Creator God Who is infinitely bigger than any situation we may face, and He knows the best outcome for us and our loved ones. No matter how our current season looks, let us all be found wholly and fully trusting in our good, loving, caring, miracle-working, and wonderful Saviour to see us through. Let’s trust our Heavenly Father to write the stories of our lives; and then let’s share those stories to encourage others and glorify His holy name. (Psalm 36:5-9)

W@W WRAP - Week 181: TAKE HEART!
Saturday Jun 20, 2020
Saturday Jun 20, 2020
This season, I believe for all of us, has been one of being intentional about growing in Christ. Maybe we have found time to reconnect with God more often, or possibly we are more aware of His presence in our lives, or we are spending more time in His Word... No matter how our faith has been stirred, let us continually strive to put aside our old ways and our own will, so that we can grow deeper in trusting God, and fixing our eyes on the eternal hope and glory that lie before us! (2 Corinthians 4:7-9 and 16-18)

W@W WRAP - Week 182: OUR GOD OF ENDLESS HOPE!
Friday Jun 26, 2020
Friday Jun 26, 2020
Jesus has come so that we can have life and have it in abundance. At some point, we all face seemingly impossible or daunting situations. During those times, it may appear that there is no way out, or no way forward… BUT with God there is always HOPE! He can breathe LIFE and bring RESTORATION! He is FAITHFUL to His promises – and we can truly TRUST in our God of endless HOPE! (Ephesians 1:17-19)

W@W WRAP - Week 183: THE FAITHFUL KING OF OUR HEARTS!
Saturday Jul 04, 2020
Saturday Jul 04, 2020
Let us examine our lives today – to see whether God is enthroned as King of our hearts. We need to recognise that relying on His strength to carry us through life is what delivers us from the anxiety and stress of trying to come up with our own plans! Do we strengthen our faith by reminding ourselves and others of the goodness and faithfulness of God? Do we wholeheartedly trust God with every detail of our lives? Our first response should be to praise and rejoice in our Lord, regardless of our circumstances! (Matthew 6:31-33)

W@W Kids WRAP 29 – Soos ‘n mier...
Monday Jul 06, 2020
Monday Jul 06, 2020

W@W WRAP - Week 184: THE JOYFUL HOPE THAT IS SET BEFORE US!
Saturday Jul 11, 2020
Saturday Jul 11, 2020
We often find ourselves in seasons of waiting: these may cause us to grow weary, impatient, frustrated or even hopeless. But in most instances, looking back at those seasons, we see how our Lord has led us to grow in our faith and reliance on Him to fill us with His life-giving HOPE! May we rejoice in the FAITHFULNESS of our Lord; and allow GRACE to move us into the JOYFUL HOPE that is set before us. (Romans 15:13)
“HOPE is to hear the melody of the future. FAITH is about to start dancing to the beat of it.” (Rubem Alves)

W@W WRAP - Week 185: LET US NOT STAND IDLY BY…
Saturday Jul 18, 2020
Saturday Jul 18, 2020
In Matthew 5 we learn that God sees us in this world as salt and light – bringing flavour and much needed illumination. Are we allowing God’s Spirit to restore and renew us with His life-giving courage and strength? He is waiting to fill us afresh with JOY, LOVE and PEACE, so that our lives brim over with HOPE! Are we shining our lights and living out our Kingdom mission here on earth so that those who are seeking can FIND, and those who are feeling hopeless can come to know the HOPE of the world – our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? (Matthew 5:13-16)

W@W WRAP - Week 186: HERE I AM LORD, SEND ME!
Saturday Jul 25, 2020
Saturday Jul 25, 2020
As we look back over history – at previous seasons of global crisis, and even great times of revival, we are reminded that God is always at work. He is constantly bringing restoration, and moving us forward in faith as He creates new ways when there seems to be no way. May the prayer of our hearts be: “Lord, open our eyes to see what You are doing in the world around us; Fill us afresh with Your living Spirit so that we can experience the HOPE that is found in You; May we speak LIFE in dead or stagnant situations; and May each of us declare today: “Here I am Lord, send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)

W@W WRAP - Week 187: GOD’S WAYS ARE HIGHER AND HIS PERSPECTIVE IS ETERNAL!
Saturday Aug 01, 2020
Saturday Aug 01, 2020
Our Heavenly Father is so much bigger than we could ever begin to think or imagine! Isn’t it amazing how He works and creates? He gives good seed to faithful sowers, so that we can produce a great harvest for His Kingdom. But in doing good, let us not grow weary, fearful or loose heart. Let us persevere in seeking His Kingdom and righteousness above all things. Let us lean in, trusting we will see things as God sees them; and let us be still and know that God is greater than any of our circumstances. His ways are higher than our thoughts and the plans He has for us are all good! (Isaiah 55:8-9)
