How incredible to think that the Creator of the entire universe loves us so dearly that as we seek Him wholeheartedly, He blesses us: not only with His GOODNESS AND PRESENCE, but with His PERFECT LOVE; ABUNDANT JOY; OVERFLOWING HOPE; and a STEADFAST SPIRIT. As children of God, may we confidently rest in the assurance that we can stand firm because our HOPE is in the Rock of all ages; the One who clothes us with His truth, goodness, joy, love and peace… The ever-faithful One who desires to fill our hearts and minds with HIS LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT, so that we can SERVE others and spread the LOVE of Jesus everywhere we go. Let us pray this week that our Lord will give us eyes to see ourselves and others the way He sees us. This will help us understand our identity, purpose and calling. Then, even when we go through trials or seasons of waiting, we will not become weary, confused or shaken. We will hold onto God, knowing in our hearts that He will heal, keep and guide us. Let us continue to draw closer to God, allowing Him to fill us with His truth, His love and His Spirit. (Habakkuk 3:17-18)

It’s a privilege to celebrate Easter together with you and your loved ones as we honour the sacrifice our Saviour, Jesus, made for us on the cross. Let’s remember today that Christ is risen from the dead. Because of that, we have a reason to celebrate and worship the One who gave His life, so that we may experience love and have hope and eternal joy. Let us come humbly before our Heavenly Father; and then let’s go out and spread the Joy of Christ this Easter. It’s all because of amazing grace! (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Ons hoef niks in ons eie krag te doen nie, maar in en deur die Heilige Gees is ons sterk genoeg om deur enige storm te kom en die ongelooflike mooi reënboog te sien wat ons het as ‘n teken van God se liefde, genade, goedheid, beloftes en seën. Mag ons soos Noag, gehoorsaam wees as ons Hemelse Vader vir ons ‘n opdrag gee.
“En Noag het dit gedoen. Net soos God hom beveel het, so het hy gedoen” (Genesis 6:22 (AFR53).

What a privilege to have celebrated Easter together! The cross is a dividing point – a signal of the HOPE and LIFE we have because of Jesus. Sometimes we are overwhelmed with fear or questions – because we have such a limited understanding of what is happening around us. But the cross brings perspective – it reminds us of the key part of the equation between FEAR and JOY. The beauty is we can trust that our Lord is for us and with us. So, may we worship like never before! Jesus is risen. May our response to every situation be one of prayer. And then let us go out and share the good news of the gospel wherever we go! (John 11:25-26)

When we seek God first, our lives are transformed! This involves not settling for anything less than God’s will and God’s way in all we say and do. It means being courageous to obey and follow where God leads us. It requires that we trust Him as our provider – the One we can always depend on. It involves a commitment to make His Word the lamp to our feet. As we immerse ourselves in His Word and presence – let us start to reflect the beauty of the Gospel and the goodness of God wherever we go. (Matthew 6:33)

We are here to build the kingdom of God – not just in our own strength, but alongside those our Heavenly Father has placed in our lives. We need to remember that nothing could ever separate us from the love and faithfulness of our Lord. This will help us to build walls of faith that will sustain us during difficult times. As we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus (our chief cornerstone), let’s trust Him for a heart of wisdom and gratitude. Let’s use words that build strong foundations in our lives and in the lives of those around us. (Ephesians 2:20-22)
