Please give us opportunities to share the gospel with those in our communities as You renew the love we have for You and for our neighbours. With hearts that are pure, noble, right and lovely, may we serve You well.” (Matthew 25:23)

We need to protect our hearts, because from there flows life. God has given us the gift of righteousness through the sacrifice of Jesus. Let’s stand firm against sinning, so that we can be in right standing with God and do what He called us to do.
“Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place.” (Ephesians 6:14)

Let’s obediently submit to our Lord this week. Let’s allow Him to stir a desire in us to be devoted to serving Him, and to blessing and loving those around us with a kind and compassionate heart. Let’s seek God first, trusting that the Truth of His Word will renew our minds and fill us with wisdom to live worthy of our calling and salvation – for His glory! May we keep our eyes on Jesus, being diligent and servant-hearted, and trusting Him to direct every step we take. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Isn’t it wonderful to know that we are loved and generously cared for by our Almighty Heavenly Father? He is always with us, and He has set us apart and equipped us with gifts and talents to do the work He has called us to. He provides the wisdom and understanding we need to not grow weary in doing what is good, right and true, but to obediently hold on to His promises. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Let’s never forget the wonder of His Word. May we observe closely, be amazed and respond in obedience to what He is doing in our lives. The well-being of our hearts, souls and minds are critical to our growth and survival in our current day. We so quickly feel overwhelmed, stressed out and heavily burdened. However, Jesus gives us the invitation to come to Him! He will provide REST and HELP so that our souls can be still as we enter His presence, and experience His unfailing love, humble kindness, steadfast power and amazing grace. (Matthew 11:28-29)
