W@W WRAP - Week 320: THE KING OF OUR HEARTS

You have possibly noticed that the word ‘die’ is tucked right into the middle of the word ‘obedience.’  We truly must ‘die’ to self to live for Jesus. As we have said so many times before, true JOY comes with putting Jesus first, others second, and ourselves last. As we experience Jesus and His joy, we can’t keep it to ourselves. May our lives be living testimonies of the HOPE we have stored deep within our hearts, as we share what it means to live a God-first, God-honouring life! (Proverbs 21:2)

W@W WRAP - Week 321: KINGDOM FIRST!

Do you ever find yourself worrying about tomorrow? Perhaps it is worry over finances, health, or relationships. It really makes perfect sense that our God, who created and owns the universe including you and I, will provide for, initiate and bless His creation. He tells us exactly where our priorities should lie as we go about our daily lives: Seek always His Kingdom first! (Matthew 6:25-34)

W@W WRAP - Week 322: GOD REIGNS!

Do you ever wonder who is really in charge of the world, your country, and your life? We can trust that the God of heaven is in charge of every detail, from the largest decision made by a world leader, to the smallest detail of our lives. May we crown God again – as Lord over every area of our lives, knowing that our eternal hope is in Him as we dwell in His shelter and abide in His faithfulness. (Daniel 4:17; Hebrews 4:12-13; Psalm 91:1-2)

W@W WRAP - Week 323: OUR LEGACY OF FAITH!

Our 'legacy of faith' deserves careful thought and action. When our Lord gave His life on the cross, He knew what His sacrifice meant for all of us. He knew the message of salvation needed to be shared. He sent out His disciples to do just that. Because of their faithfulness, and the faithfulness of others through the years, you and I know Jesus as our personal Saviour. We are now responsible and privileged to share this truth with those He places in our path and lives – especially our loved ones and the generations beyond us. (Psalm 78:4)

W@W WRAP - Week 324: WHOSE BATTLE IS IT?

Do you ever feel like you are in the thick of a battle? Sometimes it seems overwhelming. But let us take heart today! Our Lord tells us over and over in His Word that He is in charge of every detail of our lives, even the battles. So let us stand firm in a position of prayer and worship, declaring and sharing with others that our Lord is with us. He is for us, and He is the One who brings victory and peace into every area of our lives! (2 Chronicles 20:15 & 17)

W@W WRAP - Week 325: THE DEPTHS OF OUR HEARTS…

We can only draw clean, pure water from a well that has clean, pure water. In the same way, we can only share God's Word and His plan, if it comes up from the depths of our hearts. What's deep down in our hearts determines the direction of our lives and flows from us to others. May we keep vigilant watch over our hearts, ensuring that Jesus is at the centre as we seek God and His Kingdom first in our lives! (Proverbs 4:23)

W@W WRAP - Week 326: GOD’S GRACE, LOVE AND PEACE WILL GUIDE US DESPITE THE UNKNOWNS…

Do you ever feel like your life is full of unknowns? Just when you think you have a plan in place, the plan changes! Indeed, our lives are full of unknowns, but our Lord shows us how to deal with each of them. His direction gives us hope and courage to walk in faith. When we seek God first – surrendering to Him and trusting Him wholeheartedly, we can experience His grace, kindness, and unlimited love and perfect peace. (Psalm 37:3-5)

W@W WRAP - Week 327: FINDING OUR WAY!

May this Easter be a time of finding our way – to experiencing Jesus and becoming more like Him until we spend eternity at home with Him! Let's praise Him for the promise that when we seek Him, we will find Him, and when we find Him, we will experience His unconditional love and overwhelming goodness! Let us still our hearts and minds to listen, obey, trust and surrender to Him – our Rock, our firm Foundation, our Way, our Truth and our Life now and forever! (John 14:6 & Jeremiah 29:13)

W@W WRAP - Week 328: WHO IS DIRECTING YOUR STEPS?

Are your steps ordered towards a purposeful destination, or do you sometimes feel like you are wandering aimlessly? Our walk with Jesus is much more than a 'stroll in the park!'  It requires listening to His voice and following where He leads. Our steps direct us into great adventures with Jesus, to Divine appointments, and to share the Gospel with those who don't yet know Him personally. Following Jesus opens up the great privilege of crossing paths with others who love Him too. Let us ask our Lord to direct our steps, as we intentionally remain inclined and obedient to His promptings as He guides us daily. (Psalm 37:23-24)

W@W WRAP - Week 329: TWO SIDES OF THE CROSS

When we see a replica of the cross, we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for each of us personally. The cross could remind us of many things. Perhaps it is the moment we asked Jesus to be our Saviour. Maybe it is the promise of heaven, or perhaps the great peace and power it brings to our lives. Maybe it is the people that we know, love and pray for, that don't yet know Him. Most especially, the cross vividly demonstrates God's great love for us, in delivering us from the consequences of sin. It demonstrates the differences between light and darkness, freedom and bondage, life and death. (Isaiah 53:10 & John 3:16)
