We so often worry about what others expect of us… our parents, our spouse, our children, our in-laws, our co-workers, our friends, and even our acquaintances. But how often do we consider what God expects from us? We are probably all familiar with Micah 6:8 (NLT): " O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God." Let's consider how to live according to God's expectations and His will for our lives – by submitting all to Him, and by seeking Him and His Kingdom first. Let’s allow Him to transform us and those around us as our obedience leads to revival and growth – all for His glory! (Psalm 62:5-8)

Turning Trials into Triumphs… now there is a challenge! We are created in the image of God, but we live in a fallen world, full of challenges. The trials we encounter are common to all men. However, our loving Lord gave us a manual to go by as we face these challenges – His holy Word. As we spend time in the pages of the Bible, we will indeed learn how to live according to God's instructions. We will understand more about His unconditional love and saving grace, and about how we can give glory to God, in all seasons of life. (James 1:2-5)

Have you ever looked at the world around you and felt confused about what's happening? There's a lot of division among our leaders, families, and even friends. It's sad to see that we've lost the joy we once had in being together. It feels like evil is winning, the weather is unpredictable, and the world is lacking peace. It can be overwhelming and disorienting. However, God has warned us about what to expect as we come closer to the end of this earth. He has promised to be with us, to heal our brokenness, to give us freedom, and to guide us as we follow Him and His ways. (2 Timothy 3:1-6 &

Have you ever found yourself questioning whether you're making the right choices? Many of us desire divine wisdom to guide us in decision-making. By seeking God, by respecting, trusting and pursuing Him, He promises us access to His wisdom, understanding and discernment. All we need to do is ask, submit ourselves to Him, stay on the right path, remember His faithfulness and know and acknowledge our Lord in all of our ways! (Proverbs 2:1-5)

As we consider the impact we have in this world, let us reflect on how we can share the love and teachings of Jesus through our words and actions. It is not our possessions that define us, but rather the lasting impression we leave behind. Let us turn to the guidance of God's Word for any situation we face, be it success or challenge. Let us commit to living a life that leaves a Heavenly fragrance – guiding others to Jesus. (James 4:14)

Do you ever find yourself struggling to understand God's plan for your life? It's common to feel uncertain about what His perfect will is for us. However, it's important to take a step back from the busyness of our lives and shift our focus to Jesus. When we look at things from God's perspective, we can gain a better understanding of His plan and see the bigger picture. We can trust that, in due time, He will work everything together for our good and to bring glory to His name. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Ever felt like you're running in a different direction to the rest of the world? If so, you're not alone. God has given us His Word to guide us on our earthly journey, and has blessed us with Godly friends to learn from, pray for, and love. Instead of following the world's ways, let's seek to understand God's ways. Rather than avoiding changes and challenges, let's embrace them. By enduring, we can find joy, grow in our faith, bring glory to God, and lead others to Jesus. (Matthew 5:3-12)

W@W WRAP - Week 337: A SONG OF JOY FROM THE RUINS!

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where it looks impossible for anything good to come out of it? Whether it's relationships, health issues, finances, or struggles in our spiritual lives, it is sometimes tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, we can find hope and joy in knowing that our Lord promises to bring 'restoration from ruins.' Throughout His Word, He reminds us that putting our trust in Him will yield Godly answers to our dilemmas. Although the answers may not always suit our preferences or timing, we can know that God's plan is always perfect. (Jeremiah 33:10-11)

W@W WRAP - Week 338: REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS!

The Bible frequently encourages us to “rejoice in the Lord." Finding joy in our faith can bring immense peace and gratitude into our lives. This involves a recognition that God is the ultimate source of our strength, hope and love. When we find joy in the Lord, it deepens our relationship with Him and strengthens our faith. It inspires us to live holy, sacrificial lives that bring glory to our Heavenly Father. It motivates us to share that joy with others, and carry out the good work that God has called us to do. This joy is not dependent on external circumstances. Instead, it springs from the unconditional love, saving grace, and never-ending kindness and mercies of God. (Philippians 4:4 & Psalm 71:23)

W@W WRAP - Week 339: WHERE DOES MY HELP COME FROM?

Father God, throughout the Bible You promise to help Your people, your Children. For those of us who are struggling, I ask that we will fall on our faces before You and declare that our help comes from You. Yes, You may use human agents, but at the end of the day, only You can truly help us. Thank You Father that You are true to Your Word. Your promises are yes and Amen in Jesus.  You love us, and You have good plans for us. You can use the things that we struggle with to bring good into our lives, to help us become more like Jesus. So help us today to seek Your face and believe that our help comes from You. I pray these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
