How wonderful that we have His Word to meditate upon, knowing it's not just a list of do's and don'ts, but a testimony of His intricate involvement, goodness and grace in our lives. Have you ever found yourself settling into a comfortable routine, only to have unexpected changes disrupt your plans? These moments remind us that God is the ultimate author of our lives, and we can trust Him to guide us through life's transitions. Let's embrace changing seasons as opportunities for growth and refinement, becoming more and more like Jesus with each passing day. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Do you ever struggle with life's most fundamental questions, such as the purpose of our existence and why we are here? Do you sometimes feel unworthy or not good enough, especially when society measures our worth based on worldly standards? It's crucial to remember that we're not alone. Amidst all these uncertainties, let us stop and recognize the profound truth that God created us out of His endless love. You are not a mistake. You are His masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. You are His most precious possession, set apart for a greater plan and purpose – all for His glory! (James 1:18 & Ephesians 2:10)

W@W WRAP - Week 383: BE STILL AND KNOW…

Do you ever feel like you are surrounded by storms, with the challenges of life raging around you? Amidst a physical storm encountered by Jesus and His disciples, He calmly responded by rebuking the wind and saying to the sea, ‘Peace be still!’  May we remember that difficult life situations can serve as a training ground for growth, restoration, healing and peace. Just as oysters transform grit into pearls, our trials can also be turned into precious treasures. (Psalm 46:10 & Isaiah 30:15)

W@W WRAP - Week 384: FAITH IN ACTION…

In life, our faith and actions are inseparably linked, and together, they shape our journey. Faith provides the foundation and belief in Someone greater than ourselves, assuring us that there's a plan beyond our understanding and current struggles. However, faith alone is not enough. Our actions bring our faith to life and demonstrate its power and relevance in our daily lives. Just like a coin has two sides, our faith inspires our actions, and our actions reflect our unwavering faith in the only One that brings life, love, light and hope into this world. (1 John 3:18)

W@W WRAP - Week 385: BECOMING MORE LIKE JESUS!

In our desire to be more like the God who created us, reflecting His compassion, love and hope in this world, we often say, "Yes, Lord, do whatever it takes. Here I am! Mould me and form me into all You created me to be." Yet, we sometimes overlook that this journey to becoming more Christ-like involves pruning and refining – a challenging process for sure, but one that yields indescribable beauty and purpose. (John 15:1-4)

W@W WRAP - Week 386: PURSUING GOD!

Seeking a deeper understanding of God is like an endless well. We can dig forever and never reach the bottom! Pursuing God means waking up every morning eager to dig deeper. It's being filled with God's love and presence, and yet still yearning for more! What is the greatest pursuit of your life? What do you dedicate most of your time to? What or for whom will you be willing to give your life? I pray that our greatest pursuit will always be longing, seeking and running after the goodness and faithfulness of our Lord. To be still in His presence, spending time in His Word, and drawing closer to Him as we earnestly pursue Him with all that we are and everything we have. (1 Chronicles 16:11 & Jeremiah 29:13)

W@W WRAP - Week 387: MAY OUR FIRST RESPONSE ALWAYS BE TO PRAY TO AND WORSHIP OUR LORD!

What an amazing gift we have received from our Lord! In a world filled with despair and uncertainty, we can find comfort in being able to sing songs of joy. Whether this joy comes from deep within our hearts or through prayer and praise, it is a testament to the enduring grace, faithfulness and love of our Creator. May others be drawn to the peace and joy we experience in the midst of life's challenges so that we can courageously share the limitless hope we have found in our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ – a hope that goes beyond this world and into all eternity. (Psalm 34:1-3)

W@W WRAP - Week 388: RETURNING TO OUR FIRST LOVE!

Have you perhaps forsaken your first love and initial passion for God? Close your eyes and remember the first time you welcomed Jesus into your life – that exhilarating, fresh, new and exciting feeling, that burning passion, a fire deep within your heart. This initial passion is often characterised by a profound sense of joy, purpose and connection with God. Yet, over time, the demands and distractions of daily life can cause this passion to wane, leading to a more routine practice of faith. So, may we revive the zeal and passion we first had for the truth that is only found in Jesus. (Revelation 2:4-5)
