W@W WRAP - Week 399: WITHIN REACH OF GOD’S LOVING TOUCH!
Saturday Aug 24, 2024
Saturday Aug 24, 2024
In Mark 5:25–34, we meet a woman suffering from a chronic bleeding condition for twelve years. This not only caused her immense physical pain but also completely isolated her from her community. Despite seeking help from many doctors without success, her steadfast faith led her to believe that touching Jesus’ garment would bring healing. Her trust in Jesus resulted in a miraculous cure, and Jesus affirmed her faith, saying, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” This story reminds us that God is the only answer to whatever we need. So, may we remain close to Jesus, and approach Him with unwavering faith, confident that as we keep our eyes focused on Him, He will offer us healing, restoration, joy and peace. (Mark 5:25–29)

W@W WRAP - Week 400: THE PURPOSE OF LIFE!
Friday Aug 30, 2024
Friday Aug 30, 2024
"Why am I alive? Does my life matter? What is my purpose?" These questions stem from our deep search for meaning. Simply existing isn't enough; we long to understand our purpose. Rick Warren reminds us that, "Focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life's purpose. We were made by God and for God – until we understand this, life will never make sense." Our purpose is rooted in serving and honouring God, not in personal ambitions. When we align with God's will and our true calling, life gains deeper meaning and direction, revealed to us through the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. (Matthew 22:37 & Matthew 28:19–20)

W@W WRAP - Week 401: TAKE HEART!
Saturday Sep 07, 2024
Saturday Sep 07, 2024
The well-known book, The Road Less Travelled by M. Scott Peck, opens with a familiar statement: "Life is difficult." Jesus says in John 16:33 (AMP): "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world." When life throws challenges our way, it's natural to ask, "Why does God allow this? Why do bad things happen to good people? Has God forgotten me?" Yet, understanding and dealing with the reality that "life is sometimes difficult" prepares us to face adversity with faith, trusting that God can bring good even from our suffering. (Romans 8:28 & 2 Corinthians 1:3–4)

W@W WRAP - Week 402: STAND FIRM!
Saturday Sep 14, 2024
Saturday Sep 14, 2024
We are called to find strength, wisdom and direction by standing firm on God's Word and promises. Though life may sometimes feel overwhelming, we are encouraged to stay grounded in the assurance that Jesus has already secured our victory on the cross. By embracing this truth, staying vigilant, and equipping ourselves with faith, righteousness, peace and resilience, we can remain steadfast no matter what challenges we face. Strength and victory are ours as we stand firm in the fullness of our identity in Christ. (Ephesians 6:10–13)

W@W WRAP - Week 403: SURRENDER, TRUST AND LEAN ON OUR LORD!
Saturday Sep 21, 2024
Saturday Sep 21, 2024
Are you facing an impossible situation, or do you feel overwhelmed by fear of the future? Instead of relying on our own strength, let us allow God's wisdom and guidance to lead us. As we are reminded in Psalm 37:3–7 (AMP): "Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the Lord and do good... Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord... Be still before the Lord; wait patiently for Him and entrust yourself to Him." May we surrender every area of our lives to our Lord, trust Him to lead us according to His perfect plan, and lean on His strength and direction in all we do! (Proverbs 3:5–7)

W@W WRAP - Week 404: ROOTED IN GOD'S REST
Saturday Sep 28, 2024
Saturday Sep 28, 2024
We live in a world that values busyness, where worth is based on productivity, and our identity is found in achievements rather than in our relationship with God. However, God desires for us to live countercultural lives in a performance-driven world and invites us to be rooted in His rest. His design isn't for us to run endlessly, but to pause, be still, surrender control, and trust in His care and provision. Rest is an act of faith, a time to find peace in God's presence, to let go of the need to prove ourselves, and to embrace our identity as His beloved children. In resting, we create space to hear God's voice, restore our souls, and rediscover life's deeper meaning. (Genesis 2:2–3 & Exodus 20:8–11)

W@W WRAP - Week 405: ETERNAL HOPE!
Saturday Oct 05, 2024
Saturday Oct 05, 2024
C.S. Lewis wisely observed, “All that is not eternal is eternally useless.” This powerful perspective encourages us to look beyond the immediate and material things of this world that are seen, fleeting and temporary and to focus on that which is unseen, everlasting and true (2 Corinthians 4:18). By fixing our eyes on the eternal, the things that last forever, we align our hearts with God's promises and find the strength to face life’s challenges with unwavering faith and hope. (John 11:25–26)

W@W WRAP - Week 406: JESUS – Our Saviour, Bridegroom and Lord
Saturday Oct 12, 2024
Saturday Oct 12, 2024
C.S. Lewis once said, “The central Christian belief is that Christ’s death has somehow put us right with God and given us a fresh start.” This statement beautifully captures the heart of the Gospel, which is not only about sin and forgiveness but also about grace, new life and transformation through Christ. The Gospel is centred on Jesus, our Saviour, Bridegroom and Lord, where the focus shifts from guilt and condemnation to His love, sacrifice, and the freedom He offers through redemption and resurrection. (Romans 3:23–24, 2 Corinthians 5:17 & Galatians 2:20)

Saturday Oct 19, 2024
Saturday Oct 19, 2024
Have you ever had a powerful, life-changing encounter with God where everything suddenly makes sense? These sacred moments feel like standing on a mountaintop – surrounded by God’s peace, clarity and presence. We feel alive and spiritually renewed, longing to hold on to these moments and stay in that place forever. W@W WRAP - Week 408: A SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE!
Saturday Oct 26, 2024
Saturday Oct 26, 2024
A.W. Tozer once said, “The Spirit-filled life is not a special, deluxe edition of Christianity. It is part and parcel of the total plan of God for His people.” A Spirit-filled life is not a special privilege reserved only for a select few. The Holy Spirit is God’s precious gift to every believer. He dwells within us, empowers us, and guides us. Living a Spirit-filled life is essential to our faith and enables us to reflect and glorify Christ and fulfil God’s plan and purpose for our lives. Through the Holy Spirit, we are not only strengthened but also called to share the hope that is within us! (John 16:7, John 14:26 & Acts 1:8)
