W@W WRAP - Week 409: LIVING A GOD-FIRST LIFE!
Saturday Nov 02, 2024
Saturday Nov 02, 2024
When we choose to live a God-first life, we anchor ourselves in His promises. This means trusting that our Lord will meet every need, carry every burden, and guide every step. It’s not always easy, but by putting God at the centre, we find peace in knowing that His plans are far greater than our own. So, let us surrender our worries, desires, and fears to Him, and focus on His love, His will, and the divine purpose He has uniquely blessed each of us with. Living a God-first life allows us to walk in faith and in the fullness of His grace, experiencing true joy and peace as He leads us step by step. (Proverbs 3:5–6, Galatians 6:4–5 & Joshua 1:9)

W@W WRAP - Week 410: RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS: LIVING A TRANSFORMED LIFE!
Saturday Nov 09, 2024
Saturday Nov 09, 2024
In our walk with God, righteousness and holiness are closely connected. Through faith in Jesus, we enter into a right relationship with God, and this righteousness leads us toward a life of holiness – a transformation that reflects His character. God calls us to live set-apart lives, embodying His grace, faithfulness, goodness and love in all we do. As 1 Peter 1:16 reminds us, “Be holy, for I am holy.” This is more than just a suggestion; it’s a divine calling to live in alignment with our Lord’s will and to share His heart with the world around us. (Psalm 145:17, Ephesians 1:4 and Ephesians 4:22–24)

W@W WRAP - Week 411: THE JOY OF JESUS!
Saturday Nov 16, 2024
Saturday Nov 16, 2024
Jesus lovingly invites us to lay our burdens at His feet by saying, “Come to Me… and you’ll recover your life. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace, peace, and what it means to live freely and lightly” (Matthew 11:28–30). His joy is found in restoring and renewing us, not in what we can bring but in who He is. We can come before Him just as we are, for He has already done the hard work. His greatest joy lies in reconciling us to the Father, guiding us, and transforming us to reflect His love and mercy. With Jesus at our side, we can experience true freedom, rest, and the abundant joy of walking closely with Him. (John 16:33, Hebrews 12:2 & Psalm 18:19)

W@W WRAP - Week 412: REACTING LIKE THE WORLD OR RESPONDING LIKE JESUS?
Saturday Nov 23, 2024
Saturday Nov 23, 2024
When life brings hurt and disappointment, we are faced with a choice: Will we react like the world or respond like Jesus? While we cannot control the actions of others, we can control how we respond. Retaliation, anger, or self-pity may seem justified in the moment, but God calls us to a higher standard – to respond with love, kindness and grace. So, let us embrace Jesus’ call to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9), reflecting His heart even in the most challenging situations. May we choose to honour God with our words, actions and attitudes, responding in ways that glorify Him. Remember, by walking in His truth and love, we reflect Christ’s character and bring light to a broken world. (Ephesians 4:31–32, James 1:19–20 & Proverbs 26:4)

W@W WRAP - Week 413: EVEN IF…
Saturday Nov 30, 2024
Saturday Nov 30, 2024
Life’s journey often takes us to places where we stand on the promises of God yet struggle to see their fulfilment in the here and now. Deep in our hearts, we know that God is faithful, His Word never fails, and His plans for us are eternally good. We are redeemed and made new in Christ, destined for His greater purpose. Yet, in the middle – the space between God’s promises and their visible fulfilment – we sometimes wrestle with doubt, confusion, hurt, worry and waiting.
So, what do we do during these challenging moments? We hold fast to this unshakable truth: "God makes everything beautiful in its time" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). His timing is perfect, His grace is sufficient, and His love never fails us. Even if the path feels unclear, even if the wait feels long, and even if the struggle feels overwhelming, we can trust that God is at work. His goodness and faithfulness follow us all the days of our lives and His promises stand forever. (Genesis 50:20, Isaiah 43:19 & Ecclesiastes 3:11)

W@W WRAP - Week 414: LIVING BY FAITH
Saturday Dec 07, 2024
Saturday Dec 07, 2024
Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God – a complete reliance on His character, promises and plan. True faith goes beyond mere belief, calling us to trust in our Lord’s goodness, even when the outcomes are unclear. Faith invites us to move past the surface and experience the abundant life God has prepared for us. It is not just an intellectual exercise or a fleeting feeling; faith is a gift from God that permeates the very core of our being, shaping how we live each day. Faith requires vulnerability, honesty, surrendering control, and trusting in God’s wisdom above our own. Through prayer, obedience, and intimacy with Him, faith aligns our hearts with His incredible plans and empowers us to face life’s challenges with hope and confidence, resting in His unchanging faithfulness. (Hebrews 11:1 & 1 Corinthians 13:12)

W@W WRAP - Week 415: REFLECT, REJOICE, RELEASE, RE-ALIGN AND REMAIN IN OUR LORD
Saturday Dec 14, 2024
Saturday Dec 14, 2024
As we approach the end of this year, let us pause to reflect on our journey. Whether filled with joy, victory, sorrow, or difficulty, each step has been intricately woven into God’s greater plan. Nothing we’ve faced, from moments of celebration to seasons of hardship, has been outside His sovereign care. Through it all, God has been faithful, guiding, sustaining, and working all things together for our good and His glory. As we look to 2025, may we seek His heart with renewed passion, aligning ourselves with His purpose and plans. May our lives be marked by a constant awareness of His presence and a deep trust in His wisdom, embracing the unknown with faith and confidence. Remember, in our Father’s hands, every moment becomes an opportunity for growth, renewal, and the fulfilment of His divine will. (Psalm 143:7, John 5:19 & 2 Timothy 4:7)

W@W WRAP - Week 416: ENTER INTO THE REST OF JESUS
Saturday Dec 21, 2024
Saturday Dec 21, 2024
In the midst of life’s busyness and stress, it is vital to embrace spiritual rhythms that draw us closer to God and restore His peace within us. By intentionally setting aside moments for silence, solitude, prayer, worship, scripture reading, gratitude, and fellowship, we create space to experience the fullness of our Lord’s presence.
This festive season, let us step into the rest Jesus offers by quieting our hearts, trusting in His promises, and rejoicing in His presence. Let us remember that from rest flows restoration, and from restoration comes renewed strength, peace and hope.
As we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, may His peace fill our hearts and His joy renew our spirits. May we dwell in the rest of Jesus, knowing that His love and faithfulness sustain us now and forever. (Matthew 11:28–30 & Psalm 23)

W@W WRAP - Week 417: ANCHORING OURSELVES IN GOD’S PERFECT PEACE
Saturday Dec 28, 2024
Saturday Dec 28, 2024
As we step into a new year, may our hearts be open to truly experiencing God's peace – a peace that surpasses all understanding. This divine peace is not merely the absence of trials but the profound assurance of God’s presence and sovereignty.
Sin has fractured our relationship with God, ourselves, others, and creation. True peace, however, brings healing and wholeness. It restores harmony, invites rest, and nurtures an abiding relationship with Jesus, our Prince of Peace. He alone heals our brokenness, sets us free, and anchors us in becoming all God created us to be. (John 20:21, John 14:27 & John 15:4)
