W@W WRAP - Week 61: A call to prayer
Saturday Mar 03, 2018
Saturday Mar 03, 2018
“However ordinary we are, when we speak to our heavenly Father, something extraordinary happens”. We should never underestimate the power of prayer and the power that is unlocked when we offer earnest prayer to our Father. “For with God nothing will be impossible (Luke 1:37)”.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (AMP): “First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Saviour, who wishes all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the [divine] truth”.

W@W WRAP - Week 62: Fountain of light
Saturday Mar 10, 2018
Saturday Mar 10, 2018
Light is a natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible. It's a bright form of energy given off by something (like the sun) that makes it possible to SEE. With our natural eyes, we can't see in darkness. Light shines more brightly the darker it gets.
Psalm 36:9 (AMP): "For with You is the fountain of life [the fountain of life-giving water]; In Your light we see light".

W@W WRAP - Week 63: Firm steps
Saturday Mar 17, 2018
Saturday Mar 17, 2018
What is most important in your life? What do you truly delight in? The word DELIGHT describes something or someone that provides great pleasure or satisfaction. It is to bend towards or to be inclined towards an object or person. What does it mean for God to delight in us and for us to delight in God?
Psalm 37:23-24 (AMP): “The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, Because the Lord is the One who holds his hand and sustains him”.

W@W WRAP - Week 64: Life’s journey
Saturday Mar 24, 2018
Saturday Mar 24, 2018
Jesus reminds us in John 16:33 that we should not be taken aback by the troubles and tribulations of this world. He urges us: “I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world”. What trouble or difficulty is leaving you paralysed or stealing your peace?
James 1:12 (AMP): Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

W@W WRAP - Week 65: The greatest act of love
Saturday Mar 31, 2018
Saturday Mar 31, 2018
Let’s worship Jesus, our King, the One who defeated death and was raised to life again. Our Lord, leader, Prince of peace, defender, healer, intercessor, redeemer and saviour. He is our joy, light and hope. In and through Him, we have life! Let’s thank our Father God for the greatest gift and act of love.
Romans 8:34-35 (AMP): “…Christ Jesus is the One who died [to pay our penalty], and more than that, who was raised [from the dead], and who is at the right hand of God interceding [with the Father] for us. Who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ?”

W@W WRAP - Week 66: Standing in victory
Saturday Apr 07, 2018
Saturday Apr 07, 2018
We do not have to be afraid or feel alone when faced with the battles of this life. Jesus already defeated every enemy that could come against us. He defeated death so that we can live victorious lives.
2 Chronicles 20:17 (NIV): "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you”.

W@W WRAP - Week 67: Do not be a drifter
Saturday Apr 14, 2018
Saturday Apr 14, 2018
God did not create us, and Jesus did not die and victoriously defeated death so that we can live mediocre lives of little significance and impact. But through Jesus, we are part of God’s family. Jesus calls us brothers and sisters. This is the most beautiful story of salvation…
Hebrews 2:1 (NIV): “We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away”.

W@W WRAP - Week 68: Sticking with God!
Saturday Apr 21, 2018
Saturday Apr 21, 2018
What is your first response when you don’t know what to do or where to go? In Lamentations 3:22-24 we read: “God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, His merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over)”… When faced with every-day life, do you first run into the loving and trusting arms of our Father? Do you stick with Him, stay in His presence and trust that He has your back? Or do you withdraw?
Psalm 23:2-3 (TPT): “[The Lord] offers a resting place for me in His luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where He restores and revives my life. He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in His footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honour to His name”.

A vessel may be defined as a hollow utensil for holding something, an object that is used as a container. Figuratively speaking, a vessel refers to a person regarded as receiving or containing something, one into whom something is conceived as poured or in whom something is stored for use.
Acts 9:15 (NKJV): But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel”.
