W@W WRAP - Week 70: His poetry
Saturday May 05, 2018
Saturday May 05, 2018
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines poetry as: “Something that is very beautiful or graceful – the writings of a poet”. Do you believe that our Lord, our ‘Poet’ has a special plan and destiny for you – that your life plays a major role in the beautiful poetry written by God?
Ephesians 2:10 (TPT): “We have become His poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny He has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!”

W@W WRAP - Week 71: Waiting expectantly
Saturday May 12, 2018
Saturday May 12, 2018
In Acts 1:9-10 we read: “…a cloud took Him up out of their sight. While they were looking intently into the sky as He was going, two men in white clothing suddenly stood beside them, who said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This [same] Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will return in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven”.
What is your focus – your first priority in life? Are you looking intently into the sky, with excited anticipation, for Jesus to return? Are you acting on His last commission or are you caught up with the busyness and struggles of this world?
Acts 1:8 (AMP): “But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth”.

W@W WRAP - Week 72: Fixing our thoughts on Jesus
Saturday May 19, 2018
Saturday May 19, 2018
“Fixing” our thoughts and being deliberate about what we think and how we act are sometimes difficult… especially when our minds bounce between the situation we are facing, our long “to do lists”, and the lies we believe about ourselves and those around us. Are we intentional about focussing on Jesus – the one in whom our confidence and hope lies?
Hebrews 3:1 (AMP): “Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest”.

W@W WRAP - Week 73: Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Saturday May 26, 2018
Saturday May 26, 2018
Gratitude is defined as: “The state of being grateful. A feeling of appreciation or thanks”. What is the condition of your heart? Is it one of moaning and groaning, and always wanting more… Or is it one of gratitude towards our Lord – appreciation and praise for who He is and all that He’s giving you? Are you recognising the greatness and goodness of our Lord, so clearly, that you want to instruct your whole heart, your whole life, your innermost being, to shout: “Bless the Lord, O my soul! Bless His holy name!”
Psalm 103:1-2 (MSG): “O my soul, bless God. From head to toe, I’ll bless His holy name! O my soul, bless God, don’t forget a single blessing!”

W@W WRAP - Week 74: “I will go before you…”
Saturday Jun 02, 2018
Saturday Jun 02, 2018
How often do we encourage others with the words: “The Lord will go before you…”? Precious words indeed! Do you believe those words with your whole heart? Do you believe that our miracle-working Father will straighten and smooth out the road before you? How does your heart respond to Isaiah 40:4: “Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, and the rugged places a plain”?
Isaiah 45:2-3 (NIV): “I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name”.

W@W WRAP - Week 75: “Undistracted passion”
Friday Jun 08, 2018
Friday Jun 08, 2018
Passion is an intense compelling emotion that forces us into action. Passion arises from a hunger or a dream that is more intense, driving or overpowering than other emotions or pleasures we feel. It’s something we would sacrifice for and pursue regardless of the cost. What is your passion, the first love of your heart? What is the one thing you would choose over everything else?
Luke 10:41-42 (TPT): The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important? Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her”.

Saturday Jun 16, 2018

Navigation systems are amazing! But they do, sometimes, take us to the wrong destination… As children of God, we have an internal navigation system that cannot and will not ever steer us in the wrong direction!
Isaiah 45:2-3 (NIV): “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it”.

W@W WRAP - Week 77: Lord, we need you!
Friday Jun 22, 2018
Friday Jun 22, 2018
“Lord, we need you! Keep us safe. Help us, as we depend on You! You are our God! Thank you, dear Lord, for Your love that never runs dry; for Your faithfulness that is new every morning; for Your grace that is sufficient for each day; and for Your provision, direction and kindness toward us. Lord, we need You – every second of every day. Thank You that You will never fail or leave us. All our trust is in You!”
Psalm 70:5 (TPT): “Lord, in my place of weakness and need, won’t you turn your heart toward me and hurry to help me? For you are my Savior and I’m always in your thoughts. So don’t delay to deliver me now, for you are my God”.

W@W WRAP - Week 78: The work of His hands…
Saturday Jun 30, 2018
Saturday Jun 30, 2018
Our highest purpose and calling is only found when we are walking aligned to our Heavenly Father’s will for our lives. Jeremiah reminds us of an important truth about being molded, shaped and transformed by our Maker as we journey through life: “I went down to the potter’s house, and saw that he was working at the wheel. But the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled by the potter’s hand; so he made it over, reworking it and making it into another pot that seemed good to him” (Jeremiah 18:3-4). We see here that the clay finds its highest purpose, fulfillment, and joy; and its ultimate destiny, when it’s pliable (ready to be reworked) in the potter’s hands. We are no different… We find our fulfillment, our joy, our highest purpose and calling, when we let our Potter have His way with us!
Isaiah 64:8 (NIV): “Yet You, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, You are the Potter; we are all the work of Your hand”.
